Cuando estamos soñando, a menudo somos avatares de nuestro ser despertado. Nos manifestamos, ocasionalmente, como personas específicas y alter egos, pero casi nunca somos conscientes de esas manifestaciones cuando estamos soñando. Podemos parecer diferentes, podemos ser del género opuesto, más jóvenes o más mayores u otras personas. A veces es difícil saber qué es un sueño y qué es la realidad.

Como tributo a Kon Satoshi, los temas estilísticos están fuertemente influenciados por el anime japonés, especialmente el de Paprika, y se caracterizan por una combinación de colores llamativos y vívidos y representaciones muy imaginativas. The dreamer is the center of all dream experiences. When we are dreaming, we are often avatars of our woken selves. We manifest, occasionally, as specific personas and alter egos, but we are almost never aware of those manifestations when we are dreaming. We may look different, we may be of the opposite gender, we can be younger or older or we can be someone else. To the dreamer, the dream is reality. Lepidopterological musings aside, we have to agree with the Taoist allegory that it is sometimes hard to tell what is dream and what is reality.
